Cohere Partners with University of Waterloo for Enterprise AI Certificate

Cohere has partnered with the University of Waterloo to develop a new "AI Transformation and Change Management" certificate program. Slated to launch in Fall 2026, the program aims to equip students with the practical skills needed to help organizations adopt AI securely and responsibly. Cohere's Chief AI Officer, Joelle Pineau, stated that the initiative will provide students with hands-on experience working directly with enterprises to identify and implement AI opportunities, strengthening Canada's position in secure, sovereign AI.
