Top Google AI scientist Jeff Dean announced the founding of Discovery Loop, a Public Benefit Corporation, alongside longtime collaborators Sanjay Ghemawat, Oriol Vinyals, and Quoc Le.
The new company's mission is to accelerate discoveries by automating machine learning, science, and engineering. Having worked together at Google for 14 to 30 years, the team's launch is a major move in the AI for Science space.
