OpenAI researcher Naomi Bashkansky announced her resignation two weeks ago to join the startup Conduit as a founding researcher.

At Conduit, her team focuses on training AI models to non-invasively read the human mind by interpreting brain signals. She also published an essay outlining her vision for the future of brain-computer interfaces, discussing what 'telepathy' could look like by 2035 and the technical roadmap to get there.
