Google's Chief Scientist Jeff Dean Leaves to Co-found AI Startup Discovery Loop

Google's chief scientist Jeff Dean is stepping down to co-found an AI startup focused on scientific discovery, named Discovery Loop. He will be joined by co-founders Oriol Vinyals, Quoc Le, and Sanjay Ghemawat. Google is reportedly investing in the venture and providing compute resources.
