Jeff Dean Announces New Team to Automate Large-Scale ML Experiments

Google co-founder Jeff Dean revealed plans for a new team on X. He stated that the immediate order of business is finding office space and hiring an amazing founding team over the next few weeks to create an environment with a culture of technical excellence and ambition.
The team will start building infrastructure, AI models, and systems to tackle their first domain: automating large-scale experimentation for ML research and engineering.
