Wayve Gets London PHV Licenses, Kicks Off Uber Autonomous Rides This Summer

UK autonomous driving company Wayve announced that its self-driving vehicles have been granted Private Hire Vehicle licences by Transport for London (TfL). This marks a significant milestone in its partnership with Uber.
Over 100,000 Londoners have signed up for the interest list. Early access trips will begin this summer, ahead of a broader public launch.
