World First: Thermodynamic Chip Successfully Drives Closed-Loop Robot Control

During a recent fleet build-out, Noumenal Labs wired an Extropic XTR-0 thermodynamic sampling devkit into the base of a solar farm maintenance robot, allowing it to steer autonomously.
This is believed to be the first time a robot's motion commands have been drawn from a thermodynamic computer. The closed-loop pipeline functions as follows: Camera → neural network → thermo chip → motors. This marks a significant milestone where robot motor control is steered by a physical thermal sample rather than traditional software pseudo-randomness (e.g., numpy.random).
