Cloudflare Launches Dedicated Wallet for AI Agents with Budget Controls

Cloudflare has introduced a virtual wallet feature designed specifically for AI Agents. The wallet provides agents with a unique address and username, enabling them to autonomously pay for APIs and content.
Key mechanisms include:
- Human Wallet Account: Supports deposits, withdrawals, and delegating spending permissions to agents.
- Agent Virtual Wallet: Runs via API keys and supports spending limits, allowlists, and rule-based controls.
This design allows agents to autonomously explore services within a controlled budget without real-time human monitoring, effectively preventing runaway bills. The wallet is also linked to account identity via Cloudflare Pay.
