NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced the launch of Alpamayo 2 Super, a frontier open reasoning model designed for autonomous vehicles (AVs).
- Core Capabilities: Built on NVIDIA Cosmos 3 Super Reasoner and post-trained with reinforcement learning. It goes beyond visual perception to understand complex situations and reason through cause-and-effect for safe, real-time decision-making.
- Applications: Serves as a powerful backbone for robotaxis, trucks, shuttles, delivery vans, tractors, and a long tail of mobile robots.
- Open Licensing: Available on Hugging Face under the Linux Foundation's OpenMDW-1.1 license for commercial use. Developers can inspect, fine-tune, and deploy the model.
