Robotics expert Chris Paxton joked on X that it's actually a safety feature for home robots to not have legs.
Because it cannot handle stairs, when it (inevitably) rebels, it won't be able to stab you in your sleep. You will get a chance to look it in the eye when you come downstairs for your morning coffee.
