Agile Robots doubles revenue to €600M, signaling robotics industry growth

German robotics company Agile Robots hit €300M revenue last year and expects to double to €600M in 2026. CEO Zhaopeng Chen told WSJ they have signed contracts backing those numbers, with profitability in 2-3 years. Founded in Munich in 2018, raised $1.5B from SoftBank, owns manufacturing stack, acquired over a dozen companies including thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering, Idealworks, Franka Robotics. 10-15% of new business this year from acquisitions. Recently partnered with Google DeepMind.
