Coinciding with the Black Hat conference, the Linux Foundation has released a Request for Comments on the Shared AI Findings Exchange (SAFE) guidelines.
Drafted by the Open Secure AI Alliance—which now includes over 120 members like NVIDIA, Cisco, and CrowdStrike—the framework aims to address agentic cybersecurity threats by:
- Confidentially collecting and analyzing AI incidents and near misses
- Informing impacted entities
- Identifying recurring control failures
- Publishing evidence-based operating recommendations to reduce systemic risk.
