Zuckerberg: Most Businesses Won't Own Frontier AI, But Will Have Custom AI Layers

Mark Zuckerberg recently stated that the vast majority of businesses will not own or control frontier AI models in the way Meta or OpenAI does.
However, he believes companies will eventually end up with something that feels like their own AI: a customized operational layer that deeply reflects how the company actually works. Unlike OpenAI and Google's focus on building singular AI systems, Zuckerberg predicts the future ecosystem will consist of many different AI systems tailored to specific business needs.
