Blue River co-founder says robotics only matters when machines get used

At an SV Icons robotics dinner, Lee Redden—co-founder of Blue River Technology and now at LastFleet—shared a few early lessons from robotics:
- His Stanford lab once built a new robot every month, but they all ended up collecting dust on a shelf.
- He concluded he didn’t want to build robots that sit unused.
- He also described how bringing large image datasets into agriculture helped unlock practical robotics applications.
