Sakana AI joins Japan’s AI Robot Association to push world models and Physical AI

Sakana AI says it has become a full member of the Japanese AI Robot Association (AIRoA) this month.
- The company says the membership is part of its RSI Lab effort.
- It plans to work with @airoajp on world models and Physical AI research and development.
- The accompanying member list shows AIRoA includes major Japanese industrial and robotics players such as Toyota, Hitachi, Denso, NEC, Fujitsu, Panasonic, and others.
