scE2G is now published in Nature Genetics with a new held-out CRISPR benchmark
The team behind scE2G says the method for linking enhancers to target genes from single-cell data is now online in Nature Genetics.
- After the preprint, they added a new benchmark on a fully held-out CRISPR dataset.
- On that benchmark, scE2G still shows state-of-the-art performance, which they say reinforces its ability to generalize.
- The paper frames scE2G as a way to build enhancer maps across hundreds of human cell types.
The attached figure compares scE2G against several baselines on the held-out CRISPR benchmark and shows the model at the top of the weighted AUPRC chart.
