Deel buys Clarity to add continuous deepfake and identity security

Deel is acquiring Clarity, a continuous AI security company focused on deepfake detection, continuous identity verification, and device provisioning.
The company says the goal is to move beyond one-time background checks and build a continuous identity security layer across the full lifecycle from hiring to onboarding and ongoing access management. Deel also highlights real-world fraud risks, including worker impersonation and fraudulent candidate profiles.
