ChatGPT users say the “too fast” nanny prompt now fires during manual copy-paste
KnittedDrow · reddit · 2026-08-04
A ChatGPT user says they keep hitting the “You’re doing things too quickly” warning even while doing everything manually by copying and pasting.
They’re asking OpenAI to recalibrate the threshold because the nanny prompt feels too sensitive and interrupts normal usage. The post is basically a complaint about ChatGPT’s rate/behavior guardrail being triggered too easily.
