Light Origins shows a humanoid robot that can perceive the world and choose actions on its own while traversing unfamiliar terrain. In the demo, the robot vaults obstacles, climbs platforms, and switches among walking, climbing, and vaulting without skill labels, state machines, or motion generators at inference time.
The company says it trains a single perceptive, whole-body policy that decides which skill to use based on the situation. The posted footage frames the system as autonomous whole-body control rather than a scripted robot demo.
