Lambda Surgical Exits Stealth with $6.5M to Bring LiDAR into Surgical Guidance

Startup Lambda Surgical has emerged from stealth mode with a $6.5 million seed round. The company is developing a surgical guidance platform called LambdaGuide powered by LiDAR technology.
The system aims to provide real-time, sub-millimeter spatial sensing for minimally invasive procedures, helping surgeons accurately measure anatomical targets and localize instruments. The company plans to submit for FDA 510(k) clearance and prepare for commercial launch within the next 18 months.
