HirokatuKataoka · x · 2026-08-03
Junior researchers in Japan's computer vision (CV) field have officially launched LENS (Learning and Exchange Network for Vision Studies). Modeled after the existing NLP community YANS, LENS aims to connect CV enthusiasts across different institutions and age groups, from high schoolers to working professionals.
The community plans to host online and offline networking events to foster friendships, collaborative research, and career development. A Discord server has been opened for new members, and the organizers are currently seeking sponsors.
