Cloudflare Kicks Off Agents Week, Exploring an Agent-Native Cloud Architecture

Cloudflare has launched its "Agents Week," accompanied by a deep dive into the core philosophy of an "Agent Cloud."
The post argues that today's cloud and web infrastructure are built for humans (e.g., attention-holding pages, click-driven dashboards). Agents, however, do not get distracted or fatigued and have entirely different needs regarding speed, structure, and access. A true Agent Cloud must serve two purposes:
- Agent-Native Future: Building primitives designed specifically for agents from the ground up, rather than retrofitting human tools.
- Bridging Today: Acting as a translation layer between the current human-shaped web and the emerging agent-shaped web.
Throughout the week, Cloudflare will explore agent execution layers, the agentic software development lifecycle (ADLC), secure human-agent interaction controls, and the broader agentic web.
