Google DeepMind Launches Gemini Robotics 2 for Whole-Body Robot Intelligence

Google DeepMind has officially launched Gemini Robotics 2, an advanced vision-language-action (VLA) model designed to power the next generation of highly adaptable robots.
Key capabilities include:
- Whole-body control & dexterity: Enables humanoids to walk, crouch, stretch, and perform fine manipulation tasks like cleaning a cluttered room.
- Multi-robot collaboration: Allows multiple robots to team up and finish jobs faster.
- On-device & fast adaptation: The model can run locally on-device and seamlessly adapt to entirely new robotic embodiments in just a few hours.
