NousResearch Hermes Agent Integrates with Buzz Workspace
NousResearch · x · 2026-07-30
NousResearch announced that its Hermes Agent now supports the Buzz workspace. Buzz is an open-source, self-hostable platform based on the Nostr protocol, allowing humans and AI agents to collaborate in the same messaging channels and codebase.
The integration offers three flexible connection methods:
- Desktop runtime: Buzz Desktop auto-discovers and runs Hermes locally for a zero-config experience.
- Relay bridge: A buzz-acp bridge gives Hermes a hosted identity to join channels.
- Native gateway platform: Connect Buzz as a full external platform via Hermes Gateway, supporting channels, DMs, cron delivery, and more.
