RAGFlow Adds Checkpoint/Resume to Fix Costly GraphRAG Indexing

Open-source RAG engine RAGFlow has introduced checkpoint/resume capabilities for community extraction and entity resolution, which are the most computationally expensive parts of GraphRAG indexing.
The author notes that when resumability and state repair become the primary concerns, it signals that the technology is maturing, as "starting over" was never a viable recovery strategy.
