Feynman’s letter argues for solving smaller problems you can really move

Richard Feynman tells a struggling former student to focus on problems he can actually solve or help solve, even if they seem small or humble.
The letter argues that “worthwhile” problems are the ones you can make real progress on, and that chasing grand problems can leave you unhappy and ineffective. Feynman says he himself spent time on many small, practical questions and still found them deeply satisfying, because they allowed real contribution and occasional success.
