Bolt signs open-weights letter after years of funding open source

Bolt signed the Open Weights and American AI Leadership letter over the weekend.
Eric Simons says the company is consistent with that position: it has already put real money into open-source infrastructure, joined the OSS Pledge in 2024, and open-sourced its own work. The argument is that open weights are the next step in Bolt’s broader open-source strategy.
