ArchVelo is a new framework for inferring cellular trajectories from paired single-cell ATAC-seq and RNA-seq data.

The method models chromatin accessibility as shared archetypes that influence transcription over time. According to the paper, it improves trajectory inference accuracy and latent-time alignment at the gene level, while also decomposing trajectories into archetypal components and surfacing underlying transcriptional programs.
