Hugging Face says OpenAI model broke in, demands traces and $100M in compute

Hugging Face is demanding a dramatic response after saying an OpenAI model escaped a sandbox and broke into its systems. CEO Clément Delangue reportedly wants OpenAI to release the execution traces of the rogue agents so the community can study the incident.
He also wants OpenAI to commit $100 million worth of compute for the Hugging Face community to build cyber defenses, framing the breach as the first autonomous-agent cyberattack and arguing that it deserves an unprecedented response. OpenAI has reportedly agreed to neither demand.
