Anthropic's S-1 discloses a governance structure where Dario Amodei handpicks five people who in turn select the majority of Anthropic's board, permanently. Commenters note that thanks to super-voting shares held by the cofounders, no other shareholder had real governance influence anyway — making the "shadow board" less consequential than it appears.
