A startup reportedly abandoned its internally vibecoded task-tracking tool and went back to Linear because maintaining the custom system was eating too much of the team’s bandwidth. The original quote had claimed the company had fully replaced Jira/Linear/Trello with the homegrown tool, built by a QA lead rather than a developer, but the follow-up says the maintenance burden won out.
