LinkSpotlight adds Alt+H focus mode to untangle complex ComfyUI graphs
dingsl771 · reddit · 2026-07-27
LinkSpotlight is a free open-source ComfyUI extension that dims every link except the selected node’s connections, making tangled graphs easier to inspect.
The author says the tool was vibe-coded with AI assistance but then manually reviewed, verified against ComfyUI’s frontend source, and tested on real workflows including the new Vue nodes beta. Key features include a native remappable shortcut (Alt+H), optional faint links instead of fully hidden ones, selectable depth, optional dimming of unrelated nodes, zero Python nodes, no JSON workflow changes, and fail-safe behavior if future canvas internals change.
The post also notes a similar always-on tool, ComfyUI-SelectionFocus, but argues this one is for explicit on-demand focus.
