Google DeepMind Tokyo leader marks 15 years at Google across London and Japan

Google DeepMind Tokyo leader Heiga Zen marked 15 years at Google, spanning seven years on the Speech team in London, five years with Google Brain in Tokyo, and the past three years leading Google DeepMind in Tokyo.
He described moving from an individual contributor in TTS research to director of the GDM Tokyo site, and said he is excited to keep pushing AI forward for users globally, across APAC, and in Japan.
