Jensen Huang’s first post on X is a policy letter, not a product launch.
The post highlights “Open Weights and American AI Leadership” — a letter dated July 24, 2026 and co-signed by Meta, Microsoft, IBM, Mistral, Hugging Face, Mozilla, and Palantir. The argument: open models let startups, universities, and public institutions build on frontier AI without paying frontier prices, while retaining control over data and deployment.
