MiniCPM-RobotManip is a 1.5B generalist VLA for real-robot manipulation
OpenBMB’s MiniCPM-RobotManip is a 1.5B VLA built on MiniCPM-V 4.6 with highly efficient visual token compression.
- Targets multi-step manipulation with historical observations
- Uses streaming inference to keep compute low
- Reported latency is about 120 ms per decision step on H100
- On RMBench, it scores 53.5, well above the cited π0.5 baseline at 10.4
- The attached benchmark chart also shows strong results on LIBERO, Calvin, and RoboTwin2
