The Wall Street Journal reports that Stripe is in talks to acquire OpenRouter, the AI model marketplace, for roughly $10 billion.
If the deal happens, it would be one of the biggest AI infrastructure/business acquisitions to date and would put a payments giant in control of a major model-routing layer.
