GeoLibre ships 936 browser-based geospatial tools in a Rust-to-WASM toolkit

GeoLibre released geolibre-rust v1.0, a pure-Rust geospatial toolkit that compiles to WebAssembly and runs entirely in the browser.

Key details:

936 open-source geospatial tools are available in the browser with no server, Python, or install required.
The package combines 736 tools from whitebox-wasm plus 204 GeoLibre-authored tools.
Users can pick any tool, fill an auto-generated parameter form, and run it directly on their own data.
The stack is also exposed through GeoLibre, Python, Jupyter notebooks, and JavaScript.

The project is positioned as a fast, open, dependency-light geospatial stack that works anywhere the web does.
