Databricks says it is expanding its decade-long strategic partnership with Microsoft through the 2030s to help enterprises build AI grounded in their own business context.
The partnership deepens Databricks’ use of Azure Databricks and Azure Cobalt, while Microsoft continues integrating the Databricks Data + AI Platform across products. Databricks says that will bring capabilities such as Genie into customer workflows through Microsoft 365, Teams, and Copilot, with an emphasis on context, control, choice, cost efficiency, and reliability.
