Hermes Agent adds portable profiles for separate work and personal agents
Teknium · x · 2026-07-23
Hermes Agent adds Profiles, letting you run fully separate agents on the same machine with their own config, API keys, SOUL.md, memory, skills, sessions, cron jobs, and gateway.
The post shows several use cases:
- hermes profile create coder creates a new profile and matching coder command set.
- hermes profile create work --clone clones config, keys, skills, and personality but starts with fresh memory and sessions.
- You can keep work and personal bots side by side with different Telegram or Discord tokens.
- Profiles can also be exported, imported, and shared across machines.
