Replit’s mobile app has been redesigned around a simpler agent-first workflow.
The post says the first mobile version launched in October 2022 when Replit was still more developer-centric. The new experience focuses on three main actions:
- chatting with the agent
- creating tasks
- previewing the app
It still preserves access to the more complex workflows from the web app, but the team’s goal is to reduce clutter and keep users focused on the agent loop rather than reading code on a phone.
