NVIDIA brings a DGX GB300 supercomputer online at the Naval Postgraduate School

NVIDIA says its DGX GB300 AI supercomputer is now online at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey.
- Jensen Huang visited the campus to commission the system and called timely information and insight critical to national security.
- The platform gives 1,500+ resident students and 600 faculty on-prem access to large-scale AI compute for training and inference.
- Planned uses include weather prediction, cybersecurity, disaster resilience, and response planning.
- NVIDIA says the system is part of a broader campus AI collaboration, including an AI Technology Center and Deep Learning Institute support for faculty.
- The post also notes partners DDN, VAST Data, and Vertiv handled storage, data platform, cooling, power, and integration work.
