Four truths for using AI in a large organization
The post argues that successful enterprise AI adoption is mostly about systems design, not picking a single magical model:
- Don't bet on one model: performance varies by use case, and optionality matters.
- Point solutions don't work: fixing one step without the broader workflow usually fails.
- AI must fit the organization: generic tools produce generic results; real value comes from tailoring AI to existing processes.
- Most of the system should not be AI: use models only where they add value, and keep deterministic logic everywhere else.
The overall message is that enterprise AI works best when it is customized, integrated, and used selectively.
