Amazon AGI Lays Off Pretraining Data Engineer: "I Got Filtered Out"

An engineer from Amazon's AGI division, who was responsible for deciding which data points matter for LLM pretraining, was laid off. He joked about the irony of his role: "Turns out I was the one that got filtered out."
