Alphabet said AI features are lifting Search usage and overall queries, with AI Mode now topping 1 billion monthly users.
- Q2 revenue grew 24% YoY, with Search up 17% and YouTube Ads up 13%.
- Google Cloud revenue grew 82% YoY, and the company cited a $514B backlog.
- AI is also scaling inside the ads stack: Alphabet says more than half of SMB customers now use AI to create or optimize creatives.
- The slide deck also highlighted 22B tokens per minute on first-party model APIs and 950M monthly active users for the Gemini app.
