Slate is a new voice journal built to keep everything local on the phone.
- It uses on-device transcription via SpeechAnalyzer.
- The reflection/summarization layer runs with a 3B Apple Intelligence model on the Neural Engine.
- The app stores data in SwiftData and is built with Swift 6, SwiftUI, and Liquid Glass.
- There is no account, no analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs, and no server calls.
- The app can still work in airplane mode, and it produces a weekly Sunday summary that surfaces patterns from your entries.
