Personal agents and shared agents need very different product design

The post argues that designing for a personal agent is very different from designing for a shared, multi-user agent.
For personal agents, users generally know what to expect. But once other people start using the system, designers must think much more carefully about how users will interpret it, what they assume it can do, and what it should be prevented from doing.
In other words, the jump from single-user to shared-agent design introduces new expectations, guardrails, and product decisions.
