Agent harness builders are being pushed to support in-place updates without restarts
The author says provider tooling now changes so often that restarting the harness three times a day has become tedious.
The practical ask is straightforward: agent harnesses should be able to update their tools in place, so developers do not have to keep restarting the entire runtime every time the tooling changes.
