Coding agents could let API providers open migration PRs for breaking changes

A proposed model for API change management: providers often ship breaking changes, bury new features in changelogs, and leave customers to discover issues only after production breaks.

The post argues that coding agents can flip the workflow. Instead of merely announcing a change, an API provider could identify every affected usage in customer codebases and open the pull request itself, turning release communication into automated migration support.
