Jensen Huang is quoted saying U.S. companies should be allowed to use Chinese AI models, pushing back on backdoor fears and arguing that open models are good for the entire industry.
He says Chinese open-source models like DeepSeek and Kimi have been misunderstood, and that better models drive more usage—which in turn means more demand for Nvidia hardware and more data centers.
