IIT Madras launches a 1-week AI startup course with ₹4 lakh prize money
Wadhwani School of Data Science & AI at IIT Madras is hosting an in-person, 1-week course on building an AI startup from Aug 10–14, 2026.
- Led by Lakshmi Shankar, General Partner at Together Fund and former VP of Google Search
- Covers turning an idea into an MVP, building an investor-ready pitch, and preparing to pitch investors
- Includes a final pitch day, with the top team winning ₹4,00,000 to kick-start its venture
- Targeted at final-year students, researchers, early-stage founders, engineers and PMs
